Starting to Work on Your Booth Right Away

There is a myth that people sometimes think their exhibition are still far away from now, so they instinctively think "maybe I can do it later," and once you have this thought, you might have to run, run, and run for the rest of time. Therefore, once you decided to participate an exhibition, then it is the time for you to start prepare for your project as well.
Every exhibition has their own house rule for which document should be applied or submitted by which date, and it is usually more than a month ahead before the opening date. And also, you need the professionals` help to complete a huge part of these documents. Consequently, you would have to do these steps as following:
1. Contact your designer for your booth design and collect all the elevations and perspective drawings accordant with the construction regulation
listed in the latest manual (please read the article " What to Prepare When Inquiring for a Quotation" for your reference)
2. Handing over all the elevations and perspective drawings to your contractor and ask for the preliminary quotation (note that the final price
will be fixed base on your finalized production drawings and if any additional requests are made after the whole durationーfrom the moment on that
preliminary quotation sent until the moment of the demolition of your booth)
3. Preparing all your brandings, Logos, words and graphics that you put on your booth in AI
files for the high quality of printing. If you do not have any of them yet, please consult your
design (These symbols represent a company and can be reused in most of exhibitions, so it
is worthy to invest for making ones for your company if you do not have them, yet)
4. Processing the contract with your contractor, paying for the price listed on the invoice to
confirm your relation of cooperation.
Furthermore, after the contract has been done, your contractor will prepare and process the production of your booth. At the meantime, they will have to collect many information for your detailed choices of materials, colors, and other details; for example, when you want to come to the booth to place your samples, if you need help to fix them on, or your contractor may even ask your designer to adjust their design to fit the needs of the real situation of the production. The information goes and forth also take a certain long time.
As you have read so far, you know that there are layers of layer procedures in the whole duration and each of the layers are time-consuming. Consequently, you may understand why is that better to start once you book a space for the exhibition.
However, with all these procedures and efforts made from both two sides, you and your contractor, your booth would enventually be shaped into the form expected.
